Empowerment Workshops for Young Women

​Each year we host a different Empowerment Workshop! We host one for girls in high school and one for younger girls. We alternate years for the age grous. In 2014 we hosted our Teen Empowerment workshop with an exccellent turnout of young women! We are planning our 2015 Empowerment workshop for the younger girls.
Scholarships and Awards

We provide over $5,000 in scholarships to local women and youth.
PROJECTS
Ladies Night Out
​
Ladies Night Out is our second yearly fundraiser. It's a wonderful night of shopping and fun for the women of our community! With lots of local vendors and a fashion! Plus each ticket comes with a glass of wine, appetizers, and desserts.

Margarita Fest
​
Margarita Fest is our number one fundraiser for the year. With this one event we are able to support all of our service projects for the year.
Margarita Fest is a ton of fun! Each ticket comes with a margarita and nachos. There is live music and lots of margaritas to try!

Junior S-Club

​
We have started a Junior S-Club for children age 9-13. They have fun and do community service at the same time!
S-Club

We also have our regular S-Club for highschool aged kids. They meet at the Vet's Hall on the last Thursday of the month at Lassen High lunch time.
College S-Club
​
​
To round out our S-clubs we have the college S-club at Lassen College. It is open to all young adults from 18 to 25, you do not have to be a Lassen College Student to join.
Senior Citizen Support
​
We have identified Seniors as a population in our community that is under-served. We are trying to provide more support to them through a few projects. First, we give out gift cards to the Lassen Municipal Utility District so that they can curb the high energy costs that they face in the winter. New this year, we are providing a Christmas Dinner to local low income seniors at Eskaton Lassen Manor.
